Last summer, my family embarked on an unforgettable adventure, beginning with a heartwarming reunion in Glasgow.
After months of separation and longing to see each other, my excitement peaked, and I was ready to embark on our journey to London.
In the hustle and bustle of London’s vibrant streets, I found myself wandering once again, but this time with a sense of familiarity tinged with nostalgia.
Guess what? I’m back in London for the second time!
I remember when my daughter joined the Kingdom Education Program when she was 18. Well, that was my husband and I’s first adventure in this bustling city.
Walking through these streets again brings back a flood of memories.

Summer Getaways in London
From the time we explored famous spots like Big Ben and Westminster Abbey to of course shopping, every moment was special🤣.
London hasn’t lost its charm one bit.
The vibe, the mix of cultures, and the excitement around every corner—it’s all just as amazing as before.
Standing by the River Thames, watching the city lights twinkle, I can’t help but feel grateful. London holds so many memories, old and new, and I cherish each one.
As I continue exploring, I’m reminded of how much I love this city. It’s like catching up with an old friend—comforting and exciting at the same time.
Summer Getaways: The Warner Bros Studio Tour
If you’re a die-hard fan of J.K. Rowling’s enchanting complete book series, the making of Harry Potter is a must-see in London.
This was like stepping right into the magic world.
We got to see all the behind-the-scenes secrets too. From the actual sets they used to the costumes the actors wore, it was all there. I even got to try casting a spell with a wand—though I’m not sure I’m cut out for wizardry!
Diagon Alley was another highlight.
The cobblestone streets lined with quirky shops felt so real like we were actually shopping for potions and spellbooks.

Summer Getaways: Watching The Hamilton
Watching Hamilton is one of the most amazing experiences of our trip to London.
You know how much we love musicals, and this one totally blew us away.
From the moment the curtains rose, we were hooked. The energy, the music, the story—it all came together in a spectacular show that had us on the edge of our seats.
The cast was incredible.
The actors brought the characters to life in such a powerful way and we were completely mesmerized by their performances.
And the music? Wow.
Catchy tunes, powerful ballads, and rap battles that left us speechless. We couldn’t stop humming the songs long after the show ended.
As the final curtain fell and the audience erupted into applause, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experience.
Watching Hamilton in London was a dream come true, and I’ll cherish the memories forever.
A Summer Getaway to Remember
I carried with me not only the memories of my daughter’s time here but also a renewed appreciation for the beauty and diversity of this extraordinary city.
As I embarked on new adventures, I knew that London would always hold a special place in my heart—a place where memories were made and dreams were realized.
